According to a decision taken by the Steering Committee of ACIT in November 2nd, 2000, ACIT General Secretariat has been established. The General Secretariat is incharged with following up the future and development of the conference; cooperation with sponsoring and supporting universities and institutions in order to promote it and realize its objectives; and annual cooperation with the university chosen for the conference to organize and make it a success. Appreciating Zarqa University (ZU) initiative in holding the conference and its good planning, organization, and convening of it for the first time, the Steering Committee has decided that ZU will be the permanent base of the General Secretariat of the conference.
